Aliʻi Ana: Rise of the Aliʻi Puffer Jacket

The Aliʻi Ana: Rise of the Aliʻi Puffer Jacket is the most impactful jacket we have ever created, not just apparel, but a living statement of history, honor, and resurgence.

Born from the Waikīkī Monarch Project, this jacket carries the weight of kuleana. Printed across its body are the names of our aliʻi — kings, queens, princes, and princesses — each one a pillar of Hawaiian lineage, each one destined to rise again as we bring their portraits onto the walls of Honolulu, street by street, name by name.

This is not fashion. It is armor for a movement. A declaration that our aliʻi are not forgotten, that their mana still threads through our city, and that their presence will once again stand tall across Hawaiʻi in monumental scale.

The Aliʻi Ana Puffer Jacket is more than warmth , it is remembrance, resurgence, and responsibility stitched into every panel. To wear it is to walk in the company of chiefs. To own it is to hold a piece of the moment our monarchs rise again..: 100% Polyester

.: Thin fabric (4.0 oz/yd² (113 g/m²))

ALI’I Ana• Archival Clothing

The legacy of King Kalākaua, the last reigning monarch of Hawaiʻi, serves as the foundational inspiration for this collection. His pioneering 1881 world tour, a testament to his visionary leadership, transcended diplomatic protocol to become a cultural and technological touchstone. As the first reigning monarch to circumnavigate the globe and visit the White House, Kalākaua emerged as a global figurehead, embodying a spirit of innovation that culminated in ʻIolani Palace becoming the world's first electrically illuminated building. Much like the archival records that underpin the structure of governance, Kalākaua's reign stands as a historical cornerstone, a testament to the enduring power of leadership and the pursuit of progress. That’s why ‘archival clothing’ (copyright pending) founded by the ECOH was created so you can back the statement of your existence.

ALII ANA IS NOT MASS PRODUCTION, IT IS CULTURAL REVIVAL, IT IS WEARABLE LEGACY. IT IS ANCESTRAL REVIVAL THROUGH CRAFT, LIGHT, AND STORY. WE DO NOT JUST SELL GARMENTS—WE SHARE A LIVING HEIRLOOM, A MOMENT IN HISTORY AND AN ARCHIVAL RECORD WOVEN INTO FABRIC FOR YOU TO TAKE OUR HISTORY AND TELL OUR STORY RIGHT OFF THE WORDS IN OUR GARMENTS.

We partner with the only best fashion houses that use an advanced fabric creation technique known as dye-sublimation, a process where artwork becomes one with the fabric itself, not just printed on the surface, but molecularly bondedinto the fibers. This allows us to create our own custom-designed textiles, enabling limitless artistic expression across every inch of our garments, something mainstream, often are limited by cost-saving screen printing and generic blanks, simply cannot replicate we stand by quality over quantity not and only settling for the best.  At Alii Ana, we don’t compromise. Our pieces are born from a dedication to artistry, storytelling, and authenticity. Every design is a hyper-realistic artistic rendering, drawn from our ancestral past and inspired by the living elements of the land (aina). Each item is a one-of-a-kind original, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and an archival canvas document tracing its creative lineage and its numbered rareness with most items never being made more then 100 to 300 times. It's an instant classic, a valuable collectors item and always a limited edition, written documentation on the clothing item itself so you know exactly where and how your piece came to be. Our substrate? A buttery soft, ultra dense polyester\rayon blend that feels as timeless as it is modern, fade-proof, breathable, stretch-resistant, and built to move with your life. Every panel is printed with photographic precision, then hand-cut and sewn, one by one. No two are ever alike just as no two Lauhala leaves are.
